IT’S HALLOWEEN!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Today is one of Simon and my favorite holidays! It’s so much fun to dress up, go trick-or-treating, and have fun with friends!

Last weekend Simon and I had a Halloween party and invited all of our close friends and had such a great time seeing everybody. But that same night we had a huge blizzard that lasted three days! That’s right!!! I will say it. SNOW! Don’t get me wrong, I think snow is absolutely beautiful and all, but like I said in my post a couple weeks ago, I am not the biggest fan of the cold.  I use to be before I moved to Colorado and experienced the winters here.

And now we are nearing the end of the week, and the snow is still here. Thankfully the sun finally came out today and it has started getting warmer again, so the snow is melting. Just in time too for everyone to still have an awesome Halloween and being able to go out and collect candy.

I remember a couple years ago it was so cold (no snow though) on Halloween that everyone had to go trick-or-treating in warm coats over their costumes and it looked like everyone was dressed up as skiers or snowboarders. Hopefully, it won’t be that way tonight.

Simon also loves halloween. He loves dressing up, and we both went as pirates for the party, but tonight he has so many options he can hardly choose. I mean I think you can clearly tell the ones he definitely does not approve of. Whatever the case may be, he is very excited to get special halloween treats, but who knows how long those mummy treats will last.
