Ireland Trip – Day 3
You don’t go to sleep like a King and wake up not feeling refreshed and energized. I just about popped up out of the bed and floated right into my car. I was so excited and ready to go.

Day 3 of my trip was certainly the loneliest part of the trip. But, that does not mean it was bad by any means. The opposite, in fact. If you know me, you know that I love to get out into grand expanses where others don’t generally peddle. I like to put myself into landscapes that make me feel so infinitely small comparatively. Connemara National Park is one of these places. It was this playground of nature. Hills to run up, small beaches that lead into clear blue water, and a horizon that never ended. Definitely my kind of happy place.
I managed to get some practice in on my drone, too. I always love to utilize it as much as possible, especially when I am exploring a new place like this. I think I can safely say it is the only way to properly capture the magnitude of what I was seeing. I hope the drone shots were able to give some idea of how I was feeling, since I was struggling to find the right words.
As the day was coming to a close, I found myself at yet again a house of royalty. This time, a real-life castle. That’s right, a real, ancient castle. At this point, I was starting to wonder if they were grooming me for something. I was fully expecting an invitation to the Royal Ball!
A long day of travel requires a well-deserved rest. Only a few short hours and I am back at it again!
