World Wildlife Fund
Recently Simon the Backpacking Kitty and I partnered with the World Wildlife Fund to symbolically adopt a cheetah!
Cheetahs are under threat in Africa from hunting, habitat loss, and a decline in their pray such as gazelles and impalas. Once widespread in Asia and Africa, they are now an endangered species confined to small areas in sub-Saharan Africa.
Cheetahs and other endangered animals around the world need your help!
With our adoption, WWF sent us a tote bag, certificate of adoption, hand-written thank you card, a photo of the cheetah we adopted, and a stuffed animal cheetah that Simon loves!
It’s felt so great to help a cause we care so deeply about and Simon and I can’t wait to adopt another animal through the WWF.
What animal should we symbolically adopt next? With more than 140 different animals to choose from with everything from a Snowy Owl to a Humpback Whale, we have just gotten started!
